Grenache & Garnacha: The Grape of Sun and Warmth

The Idea
Some grape varieties are defined by acidity. Others by tannin. Grenache is defined by ripeness. It is one of the world’s great warm-climate grapes, producing wines that are generous, fruit-driven and often high in alcohol. Despite its power, Grenache possesses surprisingly soft structure. Its thin skins create wines that rely on fruit and warmth rather than tannin and colour.
