1The OINOS Service

OINOS is an independent wine learning and editorial platform providing digital educational content, study tools and related resources, including lessons, maps, tasting materials, flashcards, assessments, practice examinations and editorial content.

OINOS provides educational information and learning resources. OINOS does not award professional qualifications, certifications or examination results unless expressly stated otherwise.

We may introduce, remove or develop features and services as OINOS evolves.

2Accounts

Certain features may require an account.

OINOS accounts are intended for people aged 21 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old and that accessing alcohol-related educational content is lawful in the place where you live.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

Accounts are intended for individual use and may not be shared, sold or transferred without our permission.

You must notify us if you become aware of unauthorised use of your account or any other security issue relating to it.

3Educational Content

OINOS aims to provide accurate, carefully researched and current educational material.

Wine regions, appellation regulations, classifications, production rules, examination requirements and industry practices may nevertheless change over time. While we review and update our materials periodically, we cannot guarantee that all content will at all times reflect the most recent regulatory, regional or industry developments.

Users preparing for an external examination or qualification should also consult the current materials, specifications and requirements published by the relevant examination or awarding organisation.

OINOS materials are intended to support learning and preparation. Use of OINOS does not guarantee any particular examination result, qualification or professional outcome.

4Independent Status

OINOS is an independent learning and editorial platform.

References to third-party qualifications, organisations, appellations, producers, trademarks or educational systems are provided for identification, commentary and educational purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such references do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval or endorsement.

OINOS is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (“WSET”). OINOS does not provide WSET qualifications or examinations, and the OINOS Volumes do not replace enrolment with a WSET Approved Programme Provider or any official materials required for a WSET qualification.

WSET® is a registered trademark of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.

5Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the OINOS platform and its original content — including text, educational structures, lessons, illustrations, maps, graphics, photography, design elements, assessments, questions, tasting materials and other resources — are owned by or licensed to EidosCollective LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

OINOS content is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

Except where permitted by applicable law, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, scrape, systematically download, publicly display, commercially exploit or create substantially derivative educational products from OINOS content without our prior written permission.

You may not use OINOS content, in whole or in substantial part, to train, develop, evaluate or improve artificial-intelligence systems, machine-learning models, datasets or competing educational products without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of OINOS intellectual property to you.

6Acceptable Use

You may not use OINOS in a way that:

• —interferes with the operation or security of the platform;
• —attempts to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
• —bypasses, disables or circumvents access restrictions, security measures or technical protections;
• —introduces malicious software or harmful code;
• —infringes intellectual-property or other rights;
• —uses automated systems to extract substantial portions of OINOS content without authorisation; or
• —violates applicable law.

Automated extraction, scraping or systematic collection of substantial portions of OINOS content is prohibited except where required by applicable law or expressly authorised by us.

7Paid Access

Certain OINOS content or functionality requires payment.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, paid access is a one-time purchase for a fixed access period. It is not a subscription, does not renew automatically and does not require cancellation.

When your paid access period ends, the relevant paid material will no longer be accessible. Your account and any progress, records or notes that we continue to support may remain available, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

The content included in a purchase, the length of the access period and the price will be shown before purchase.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Any applicable taxes will be included in the displayed price or shown at checkout as required by applicable law.

Where extensions are available, an extension adds further time to access you already hold. Unless otherwise stated at purchase, the extension period is calculated from the later of the date of purchase and the end of your existing access period.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider through its secure payment infrastructure. OINOS does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details.

Paid access normally begins immediately following successful payment.

8Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain online purchases within 14 days without giving a reason.

Digital content that is supplied immediately is subject to specific rules.

Where required by applicable law, before immediate access to paid digital content begins, we will ask you to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that, once supply of the digital content begins, you may lose your statutory right of withdrawal.

If the statutory right of withdrawal still applies and you exercise it within the applicable period, you will receive any refund to which you are legally entitled.

Once supply of paid digital content has begun following your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to withdraw on the basis of a change of mind may no longer apply.

Separately from any statutory withdrawal right, we will refund a purchase where:

• —payment was successfully charged but the purchased access was not provided;
• —you were charged more than once for the same purchase in error; or
• —a technical fault attributable to OINOS prevents you from accessing the purchased content and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.

Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Where a purchase is refunded in full, access provided by that purchase may end.

To request a refund or exercise an applicable right of withdrawal, contact support@eidoscollective.com from the email address associated with your account. You may use a clear statement in your own words; no particular form is required unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy or statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to digital content that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract.

9Availability and Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, replace or discontinue features, content or portions of OINOS as the platform develops.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, updates, security, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, material changes that significantly affect existing paid access will be communicated in advance.

Any modification to paid digital content will remain subject to rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

10Third-Party Services and Links

OINOS may contain links to, integrations with or references to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, applications or services.

Those services are operated independently of OINOS and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, content or practices of third-party services, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

11Disclaimer

OINOS provides educational and editorial information about wine and related subjects.

Content is not intended as medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.

References to wine, spirits or other alcoholic beverages are provided for educational, cultural and editorial purposes and do not constitute encouragement to consume alcohol.

Where tasting is discussed, users are responsible for complying with applicable laws and making their own decisions regarding alcohol consumption.

OINOS does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in a particular examination result, qualification, professional outcome or level of knowledge.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EidosCollective LLC and OINOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a paid OINOS service will not exceed the amount you paid to OINOS for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or excludes or limits any statutory consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where a user materially breaches these Terms, misuses the platform, infringes our or another person's rights, attempts to circumvent access restrictions, or threatens the security or integrity of OINOS.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy a breach before terminating access.

Users may stop using OINOS at any time and may request deletion of their account, subject to applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and record-retention requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

14Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in the OINOS Privacy Policy.

By using OINOS, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable data-protection law.

Where third-party services are used, including payment or infrastructure providers, those providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.

15Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as OINOS develops or where necessary to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices or applicable law.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Where a change materially affects existing paid access or your rights under these Terms, we will provide reasonable notice where required by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms will not retroactively reduce rights that have already accrued to you under applicable law.

16Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply under the laws of your country of residence.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.

17General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with any additional terms presented at purchase and our applicable policies, form the agreement between you and EidosCollective LLC concerning your use of OINOS.
